The general brief was to identify all major opportunities for energy savings across the site but a more specific focus on the centralised heating system.

The Oakleaf Group's specialist team of surveyors and auditors carried out a complete review of the St George’s Hospital Estate, Tooting, in advance of the Hospital Trust's Estate Strategy formulation. The project was managed on behalf of the Trust by WT Partnership, and The Oakleaf Group liaised with both WT and Trust staff throughout the project and post delivery to assist with Estate Strategy compilation.

The Oakleaf Group have been producing DECs and advisory reports for all of the Trust’s compliant buildings since their requirement for public buildings over 1000m2 in October 2008.  This ongoing relationship with the Trust has developed over the years and the good communication and flow of required information has meant that the DECs are efficient and quickly turned around each year with a minimum of fuss and disruption to the Trust.

The Oakleaf Group have been at the forefront of the EPBD Legislation, providing DECs since their requirement for public buildings over 1000m2 in October 2008. Our first major DEC project was with West Berkshire Council, where we were commissioned to produce DECs and advisory reports for over sixty of their compliant properties. The buildings primarily comprised primary and secondary schools but also included the council’s main corporate buildings, including the county hall.

St Andrews Health Care is based at St Andrews Hospital in central Northampton with several 'satellite sites' around the country. Working to the Estate Team's specification Oakleaf have surveyed the entire of the Northampton estate to provide accurate 5 Year maintenance plans to tie in with planned ward refurbishment.

Following the successful completion of the stock condition surveys Oakleaf were commission to carry out further pre-acquisition and measured surveys as part of Craegmoors’ drive for growth.

Oakleaf were contracted by Castle Fire to undertake a Fire Risk Assessment, focusing on commercial risk, of the Fiddlers Ferry Power Station Flue Gas Desulphurisation (FGD) and the Biomass Plant. The contract was awarded in two phases with Oakleaf reappointed to assess the Biomass Plant following the successful completion of the FGD audits.

The Royal London Group were looking for a specialist firm to undertake a review of their statutory compliance and maintenance liabilities across their extensive estate, with particular focus on their Wilmslow and Edinburgh property portfolios, and approached Oakleaf to submit a fee bid proposal. Following consultation and interviews, Oakleaf were appointed in December 2010 to carry out the reviews.

The Oakleaf Group were contracted to survey the external elevations and roofs of the London Trocadero ahead of a significant refurbishment scheme. The elevations comprise several historic listed elements with the Lyon’s Corner House and extensions a particular highlight being clad in faience glazed tiles with numerous decorative freizes, cornices and original steel window frames.
